BUUK – Service Desk & Monitoring Platform Integration
BUUK Infrastructure is the leading independent provider of last-mile utility networks, constructing and operating essential utility assets for over a million homes in the UK.
BUUK embarked on a project to raise the business wide visibility of the status of the critical systems in use within the organisation. The aim of the system was to centralise information from disparate IT monitoring systems into a clean colour coded interface so that it would be easy to understand for end users.
Bridgeall were approached to integrate BUUK’s service desk with the organisations core monitoring systems. Service desk tickets were automatically assigned an impact and urgency value and new rules created and used to assign a category and subcategory based on CMDB details streamlining processes.
Ofsted – Securing Devices with Azure Virtual Desktop

Sandstone – A Proactive Managed IT Services Partner Case Study
Sandstone (previously Grant Property) had limited internal resources and a complex range of third-party suppliers to manage their IT infrastructure. This was proving to be ineffective, and the team were actively looking for a new Managed IT Services partner to help them transform their IT. Bridgeall was recommended to Sandstone and invited to tender for the provision of Managed IT Services and to replace the existing suppliers and internal resources. Our team was a proactive partner who identified opportunities for improvement, simplified systems and brought everything in-house, helping to keep Sandstone’s network at peak performance and provide stability for the business.
GMB Union – Power Apps Audit
Bridgeall was tasked by the general trade union GMB to conduct an audit of their Equal Pay Claims Solution, based on a Power Apps Canvas Application and Power Apps Portal.
Whyte and Mackay – Sustainability Power App
Whyte and Mackay approached Bridgeall to undertake a discovery phase on several key projects related to capturing data across the Whyte and Mackay business. One of these projects was the provision of a solution for sustainability reporting, looking at the recycled content and makeup of packaging in use for Whyte and Mackay products. This data, when collected, would be used to prepare statutory reporting for Whyte and Mackay for the Plastic Tax and Extended Producer Responsibility.
WICS – Migration of Email and Shared Drive Content to the Cloud
Bridgeall implemented Office 365 for email and and migrate all file content from the on-premise shared drives into SharePoint Online in a structured manner. Consequently all versions of Office applications were upgraded and compliance ensured with Microsoft licensing.
Charing Cross Housing Association – Migrating On-Premise to the Cloud
Charing Cross Housing Association engaged Bridgeall to help them modernise their on-premise IT infrastructure. Bridgeall helped migrate key applications to the cloud and make a raft of security improvements across their IT infrastructure to better support hybrid working employees.

Be-IT Resourcing is a leader in IT recruitment, specialising in the sourcing of high calibre professionals. To meet the growing workforce demand for secure mobile working and ensure alignment with GDPR regulations, Be-IT sought to improve their IT security systems, policies and procedures. With no disruption to the day-to-day running of the business, Bridgeall’s expert Managed IT Services team delivered modern secure management for Be-IT assets through the implementation of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite (EMS), developed the company’s security policy and assisted in Cyber Essential Plus certification.
Whyte & Mackay – Streamlining the Product Innovation Process
Our client Whyte & Mackay required a solution to manage their New Product Innovation process. Bridgeall delivered a Power Platform and Office 365 based approach to rapidly deliver a solution for the team. This was achieved using Power Apps to create a centralised solution and automating business process steps with Power Automate.
NHS NES – Supporting Professional Career Development in the NHS
The NES Nursing and Midwifery Career-long ePortfolio system allowed practitioners to record evidence of continuing professional development on an electronic platform however this system was not intuitive which meant that many health professionals did not use it and went back to paper-based re-validation.
Bridgeall was engaged by the Digital team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES Digital) to develop a new web application. Working closely with the NES product owners and UX team to refine user stories and develop appealing visual designs, the new system allowed users to generate evidence for re-validation in many formats, e.g. various forms, file uploads and professional details. The resulting application has been enhanced twice and is currently being used by 25,000 users.
REMT – Enabling Remote Working Supported by Azure Virtual Desktop
With the rapid move to home working required as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic the organisation need a solution that would allow staff to access key business systems and continue to operate on a business as usual basis.
A Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solution was delivered to the REMT management & sales teams to facilitate remote working during the Covid-19 pandemic. AVD delivered a low risk, predictable and rapid desktop migration enabling a BYOD strategy and use of cost-efficient staff devices.
McAllister Litho Group – Disaster Recovery with a Hybrid Cloud & On Premise Solution
McCallister Litho Group (MLG) is a dynamic print services and fulfilment company based in Glasgow.
MLG approached Bridgeall with an ageing group of servers and out of date business applications that required overhaul. They were also concerned about their ability to recover from a disaster should a major IT failure occur. Bridgeall produced a detailed options report providing several solutions with varying levels of cost. Key was the introduction of Cloud Services in Azure and Office 365 delivering significant improvements to the Business Continuity Plan.
The final solution consisted of a hybrid network of on premise and cloud based virtualised Windows Servers combined with Office 365, backed by a fully managed IT support contract covering business hours and 24/7 system monitoring.
Caledonian MacBrayne – Sailing Towards a Modern Intelligent Workplace with O365
With a fleet of 33 vessels completing approximately 136,000 sailings a year, CalMac is the UK’s largest ferry operator providing a lifeline to communities across 200 miles of Scotland’s west coast.
Working closely with the CalMac internal management team, Bridgeall has put in place the foundations supporting the company’s digital transformation journey. Successfully delivered projects include an IBM Lotus Notes and SmartCloud migration to Microsoft O365; the transfer of CalMac’s Domino Intranet to SharePoint Online; together with support provided covering an organisation-wide O365 onboarding plan.
Edrington – Tracking The Famous Grouse
Edrington makes some of the world’s best-loved Scotch Whiskies – The Macallan, Highland Park, The Glenrothes and The Famous Grouse. The Group had a requirement to improve the way it managed and tracked casks.
Developed on a SharePoint hosted app built using the latest version of ASP.NET MVC and SQL Azure, Bridgeall delivered a modern Cask Tracking System now in use across multiple locations in both Spain and Scotland. It allows Edrington to track cask creation, repairs and movements providing a detailed history for every cask, data integrity and a wealth of accessible management information. The project was successfully delivered on-time and under budget.
Link and Weslo Housing Management – Office 365 Tenant Migration
Link Group, one of Bridgeall’s long standing customers, were selected by Welso Housing Management to be the preferred partner for the transfer of all homes and services. This meant that Link Group had two separate IT infrastructures that they were looking to merge to support greater collaboration and integration of the new business. Bridgeall were invited to work with Link and Weslo IT teams to assist the transition and Office 365 tenant migration works to complete the Weslo technical integration.
Central Market Agency – Market-Critical Central System for the Water Sector in Scotland
The CMA administers the c£320M market for retail of water and wastewater services in Scotland. A key responsibility is to calculate the market-wide settlement of charges between the wholesaler, Scottish Water, and all retailers.
Bridgeall designed, developed, supported and enhanced the entire Central Systems underpinning this newly competitive market.
To assure the correctness of the market-critical settlement software, Bridgeall also built a flexible custom test solution providing rapid, precise and repeatable testing for a large number (1,000+) of complex billing scenarios.
