Microsoft Teams: The World's Leading Enterprise 'Hub for Teamwork'
Microsoft Teams is rapidly emerging as the world's most popular enterprise level 'hub for teamwork'.
According to a recent survey of 901 organisations by the IT community Spiceworks, 21 percent of respondents use Microsoft Teams versus 15 percent for Slack. Skype for Business is the most popular chat app, with 44 percent of organisations using it.
In a blog post earlier this year, we reported Microsoft statistics claiming that 120 million employees across 200,000 organisations were actively using Teams. This included SMEs, public sector organisations and large blue-chip organisations such as A.P. Moller–Maersk, ConocoPhillips, Macy’s, NASCAR, Navistar, RLH Corporation, Technicolor, General Motors and many others.
The most recent stats from Microsoft, dated September 2018, claim that 329,000 organisations are now using Teams including 54 Teams customers with more than 10,000 users; an impressive growth record considering that Teams was launched less than two years ago.
Built on the strength of Office 365, and fully integrated with SharePoint, Teams is rapidly emerging as the market leader in enterprise collaboration.
