We help organisations improve the performance and reliability of their custom applications with our support and maintenance services. This service is great for organisations who are relying on custom applications but are noticing some performance issues, bugs or unreliability in the platform.

Our support service

We have offered application support services for over 20 years. You will get a team of aligned UK-based developers that know your solution in depth. These are all experienced Microsoft certified developers with vast experience supporting and developing business critical solutions.

This allows us to offer strong SLAs with guaranteed response times and fixes as standard. On top of this we can build in options for application improvements as well as dealing with these on an ad hoc basis. Our service is completed tailored to your needs in terms of change days and SLAs.

Onboarding support

When it comes to signing up for our application support services we have a simple process. Firstly we carry out an application audit. Our review encompasses all key elements of your application and is focused on identifying and understanding any issues within your solution.

Key actions during this process include:

  • A code review (both client and server side code)
  • Assess the architecture and technology components used
  • Assess the UI and workflows
  • Assess the testing approach and coverage
  • Assess the deployment process
  • Assess the security setup.

This allows us to fully understand your application and provide you with not only a full report of your application but allows us to provide an accurate quote for supporting the application too.

Heineken – Streamlining Business Processes

Following a strategic decision to re-develop and standardise on Microsoft technologies, Bridgeall was selected from a competitive tender as one of Heineken UK’s SharePoint .NET and core ASP.NET preferred development partners based on our deep .NET experience, SharePoint know-how, agile development approach and rigorous software engineering discipline.

With the aim of delivering immediate improvements in business processes, the first project was to transition an Out of Hours Support Manager application from a variety of disparate departmental solutions, both Lotus Notes applications and spreadsheets, into a single application that streamlined the process for the business. This initial application would lay much of the framework for standardising subsequent applications. To ensure seamless integration, Bridgeall took a wider and longer-term view, developing a set of re-usable components and design elements that could be easily incorporated across the full programme.

Fair Start Scotland – Supporting Employment in Scotland

Fair Start Scotland (FSS) is Scotland’s employment support service providing assistance to those individuals ‘furthest from getting steady work’.

During the transition period from DWP, it became clear that a new Scottish IT system would be required to manage support and following a competitive tender, Bridgeall was appointed as the delivery partner for a new Scottish Employability Tracking Service (SETS).

Late delivery was not an option. The full project lifecycle – strategy, initiation, discovery, procurement, alpha, beta and transition to live service – had to be completed within 14 months; and at a fixed price. Working closely with FSS’s internal project team, and adopting an Agile approach, the Bridgeall software development team delivered on-time and under budget.

An Agile development approach was essential to accommodate multiple third parties and frequent specification changes. The customised software solution developed by Bridgeall plays a key role in the Scottish Government’s drive to reduce the country’s carbon footprint, meeting the challenges of global warming. BUUK – Service Desk & Monitoring Platform Integration
