This month in our Meet the Team series, we’re talking to Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect, Josh Giles. Not only is he a very talented Solutions Architect but Josh is also an aviation enthusiast. We find out more about Josh and his role at Bridgeall.
Tell us more about your role and what it involves?
I am a M365 Solutions Architect at Bridgeall. My role involves evaluating business requirements and determining how best to approach and design these within the M365 suite of products.
How long have you been working at Bridgeall?
Since January 2022.
What do you like most about your job?
The variety of the projects that I get to contribute on, allowing me to expand my knowledge and tackle new challenges.
What does a typical day for you look like?
No 2 days are the same, some days will be more meeting centric, others will be more focused on designing and developing solutions.
What is your background?
I started working in Infrastructure and then saw an opportunity to move in to SharePoint. From there I gained more knowledge within M365 and Power Platform. Most recently I completed my Ms500, and am now working towards becoming Power Platform Architect Expert and M365 Enterprise Admin Expert certified.
What is it like working at Bridgeall?
Great. Everyone is friendly and approachable and it’s easy to get on well with everyone socially and professionally.
How have you found moving to working from home?
Very easy as my previous roles have been home based. It’s been nice being back in the office a couple of times a week however.
Favourite project you’ve worked on?
I’ve enjoyed working on the various Power Platform projects I have worked on as it’s been great getting creative with Solution Design and also App Design within PowerApps.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I am an aviation enthusiast so enjoy making scale model aircraft, and spending time with my daughter and fiancée going for walks with the dog and adventures.
Something on your bucket list?
I would love to take the family to Disneyland Florida.
