The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – Taking Back Control with Microsoft 365 Governance
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was undergoing a large digital transformation programme across their entire organisation. As part of this they had already rolled out Skype for Business, Outlook, OneDrive and were in the process of rolling out Windows 10. ACCA asked Bridgeall to assist them with the introduction and rollout of SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and some of the wider Office 365 workloads. In addition, they were also looking to set up an operating model for delivery of changes and for this to encompass upskilling of their existing IT staff.
ADSM – Choosing the right managed IT services partner
ADSM first reached out to Bridgeall regarding the migration of their on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure and the rollout of Intune and Defender for Business across their full estate.
Whyte and Mackay – Sustainability Power App
Whyte and Mackay approached Bridgeall to undertake a discovery phase on several key projects related to capturing data across the Whyte and Mackay business. One of these projects was the provision of a solution for sustainability reporting, looking at the recycled content and makeup of packaging in use for Whyte and Mackay products. This data, when collected, would be used to prepare statutory reporting for Whyte and Mackay for the Plastic Tax and Extended Producer Responsibility.
Charing Cross Housing Association – Migrating On-Premise to the Cloud
Charing Cross Housing Association engaged Bridgeall to help them modernise their on-premise IT infrastructure. Bridgeall helped migrate key applications to the cloud and make a raft of security improvements across their IT infrastructure to better support hybrid working employees.
Edrington – Power Platform Quickstart/Governance/ALM
Edrington, one of the largest spirit companies in the world, had identified Microsoft’s Power Platform as a technology solution that they wanted to roll out across the business. They were looking for support on the best way to do this and engaged Bridgeall.
Community Justice Scotland – Breaking the Cycle of Re-Offending
Community Justice Scotland (CJS) is the national body responsible for reducing re-offending. An efficient and effective system for offender management is critical to achieving the organisation’s vision of breaking the cycle of re-offending.
Bridgeall is responsible for the support and on-going development of the Offender Management System used by CJS, the Scottish Prison Service, 1,200 social workers and 100 psychologists across 32 Local Authorities. A Bridgeall team comprising a Senior Project Manager, Solution Architect and Software Engineers work collaboratively to develop and provide on-going support for Community Justice applications. A new updated version of the system is developed and released annually.
The Growth Company – Modernising the iMentor Application
The Growth Company, an award-winning social enterprise based in Manchester, were looking to improve the way mentors and mentees were matched within their leadership mentoring platform iMentor. Bridgeall was tasked to modernise and reengineer the bespoke platform to deliver more accurate matches and create a better user experience.
REMT – Supporting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The organisations microsite had been in use for several years and did not conform to up to date processes and ways of working, which resulted in additional manual work for REMT, with respect to organising performers and staff, as well as communication between the parties.
Bridgeall developed a responsive production microsite to provide key services and support to performers and staff. Working with the REMT team Bridgeall built a new microsite that reduced the manual effort, is easy to use for groups and performers, and can be used to distribute additional information prior to and during the event.
Scottish National Investment Bank – A Complete Technology Solution
The Scottish National Investment Bank (“the Bank”) were looking to replace the Scottish Government technology solution and managed service, they were operating on at launch. After a competitive tender process, Bridgeall were appointed to implement and support a new tailored solution that included the procurement, setup and ongoing support of several goods and services.
Link Group – Enhanced Productivity with O365
One of the largest social landlords in Scotland, Link Group is a group of award-winning social enterprise companies serving over 15,000 customers.
In order to take advantage of the full potential of the O365 portfolio of services Link made the decision to migrate from Google G-Suite.
Bridgeall were appointed to help Link Housing Group move from the Google G-Suite cloud solution and onto the Office 365 platform. This involved the migration of all mailboxes, user and team data stores.Bridgeall established a migration farm hosted in Azure for the duration of the project where data was initially transferred and converted from Google to Microsoft format. All mailboxes for users and shared resources containing email, calendars and contacts were migrated in O365 exchange online. It was completed as a cutover migration for the entire organisation with around 800 users going live across a single weekend.
Be-IT – Flexible, Secure, Anywhere, Any Device Working
To support new premises, Be-IT Resourcing, a leader in IT recruitment, required a cloud-based office for staff delivering a flexible, secure environment supporting anywhere, anytime, any device access to business-critical information.
Bridgeall’s expert Managed IT Services team implemented an O365 solution with an E3 subscription plan including Exchange, SharePoint and Skype along with licences for Office 2013 Professional enabling Be-IT to collaborate and share key business information 24/7 for any location. The project established the foundations for a more agile, flexible way of working.
GMB Union – Power Apps Audit
Bridgeall was tasked by the general trade union GMB to conduct an audit of their Equal Pay Claims Solution, based on a Power Apps Canvas Application and Power Apps Portal.
Whyte and Mackay – Creating a Power Apps Maturation and Warehousing Solution
Market leader in the global spirits business Whyte and Mackay, wanted to fully digitise their processes. Each department used a mix of digital and paper records as well as a mix of communication methods. This meant that information could easily be lost, misplaced, processes were more difficult to learn, and analysing records was extremely time consuming. Bridgeall helped the team to create a Power Apps maturation and warehousing solution by combining their network of departments into a unified powerhouse.
McAllister Litho Group – Disaster Recovery with a Hybrid Cloud & On Premise Solution
McCallister Litho Group (MLG) is a dynamic print services and fulfilment company based in Glasgow.
MLG approached Bridgeall with an ageing group of servers and out of date business applications that required overhaul. They were also concerned about their ability to recover from a disaster should a major IT failure occur. Bridgeall produced a detailed options report providing several solutions with varying levels of cost. Key was the introduction of Cloud Services in Azure and Office 365 delivering significant improvements to the Business Continuity Plan.
The final solution consisted of a hybrid network of on premise and cloud based virtualised Windows Servers combined with Office 365, backed by a fully managed IT support contract covering business hours and 24/7 system monitoring.
Link Group – A Power Apps Health & Safety Risk Assessment Solution
One of the largest social landlords in Scotland, Link Group is a group of award-winning social enterprise companies serving over 15,000 customers.
As part of an on-going relationship with Link, supporting the Group on its journey to becoming a Modern Intelligent Workplace, Bridgeall delivered a new Risk Assessment solution using Power Apps. The new solution delivered cost and productivity improvements by streamlining the process of raising actions, reviewing and approving Risk assessments before they are finally published for use.
Consequently, Risk Assessments are now worked through to an approved state producing a final Risk Assessment document for organisation-wide use.
V Ships – Keeping Shipping Lanes Open During a Pandemic with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
V.Ships engaged Bridgeall to design and implement a desktop virtualisation solution. Bridgeall ran a proof of concept for Azure Virtual Desktop and then rolled this out across the company.
