We require an experienced, self-motivated and highly competent IT Support Engineer who is looking for a challenging and interesting role to help drive both our business forward, and that of our clients.
Salary
Salary, dependent upon calibre and experience + private healthcare
Location
Glasgow based Office – You may also be required to work at client sites from time to time. Remote home working will be permitted several days per week if required.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with sales proposals and tender responses by providing solution designs, estimates of work effort and any other input as may be required
- Assist in preparing customer presentations and demonstrations
- Assist the Bridgeall sales team in educating clients in the art-of-the-possible using the latest software technologies
- Assist in the definition and development of proof of concept solutions
- Liaise with clients to gather, analyse and document business process flows and business requirements
- Liaise with clients to determine the technical requirements and constraints of any proposed solution
- Take responsibility for the design of the solution technical architecture for client systems including database design
- Where appropriate, specify work packages for the development team
- Analyse data migration requirements and develop strategies as appropriate
- Act as a senior technical resource on topics of performance, scalability, reliability and security, supported by other infrastructure staff
- Participate in project scoping and estimating exercises
- Where required, take the lead for technical deliverables and liaise with Bridgeall Project Manager
- Act as the Project Manager on client projects where this is deemed necessary from time to time
- Take responsibility for the planning of all technical aspects of solution implementation.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk
- Where appropriate, devise initial training courseware and deliver training to client.

- Minimum of 8 years software development/design experience
- Degree level education
