The argument for Modern Intelligent Workplaces in Housing has been won. Only the HOW is now important.

There is growing acceptance that the Modern Intelligent Workplace has become critical for Housing Associations to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a cost-efficient and effective way.

While there are examples of best-practice emerging in some areas, significant progress still needs to be made before the sector as a whole becomes modern and intelligent. Many barriers to progress need to be overcome. These include non-technology as well as technology barriers as shown in the tag cloud below.

Empowering the Modern Intelligent Workplace in Housing

Building on our experience and expertise in successfully delivering digital solutions to various Housing Associations, Bridgeall is delighted to be sponsoring the 2020 Modern Intelligent Workplace Forum taking place in London on Tuesday 31st March.

Using a live audience polling tool and open group discussion, the highly interactive Change Leaders Forum will evaluate the issues and challenges facing Housing Associations in building Modern Intelligent Workplaces, the progress being made benchmarked against accepted best-practice, barriers to be overcome, with highly practical advice for ‘getting there’ being presented.

For the purpose of the Forum, the Modern Intelligent Workplace is defined as one leveraging the full potential of digital technologies and data for rethinking ‘the way things are done around here’, breaking free from the limits imposed by outdated systems and outdated management thinking. 

Embedding technology at the core of everything your organisation does – supported by culture change and strong leadership – to streamline internal systems and processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs; becoming an agile, fast-moving, collaborative, data-driven, productive, customer-focused organisation, ‘fit-for-purpose’ in a digital era.

Forum findings will be written up as a short White Paper – “Improving Productivity and Efficiency in Housing through Empowering the Modern Intelligent Workplace” – made available to all participants.

The key issues covered during the Forum will be agile and responsive to the specific needs of participants but are likely to include the following:

  • The signals that something is wrong – the malaise of pre-digital workplaces.
  • Why Modern Intelligent Workplaces are critical in Housing.
  • The five key building blocks of a Modern Workplace – Strategy, Technology, People, Culture and Leadership.
  • The key technologies underpinning the workplace of the future.
  • The main barriers and obstacles to overcome.
  • Implementation – ‘getting there’, practical advice and next steps in overcoming barriers to change.
  • Evaluate your organisation’s readiness to become a Modern Intelligent Workplace; identify the strategic gap between where you are and where you could be.

No Expert Panel Session

Unlike many other events, we will not be having an ‘Expert Panel Session’ or ‘Expert Speakers’.

With the audience being the experts (we all have a strong story to tell), the focus will be very much on crowdsourced learning and experience sharing. TALKING WITH rather than AT participants.
