Private sector

Across the private sector, Bridgeall have successfully delivered projects in the manufacturing, transportation and professional services sectors.

In the drinks industry, we delivered a strategic cloud consultancy project (including Hybrid, On premise, 100% Cloud) as well as developing a cask tracking system for Edrington, owner of the Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark blended whiskies and iconic single malts such as Highland Park and Macallan; for the global beer and larger brand Heineken we delivered a SharePoint implementation resulting in improved staff collaboration and significant cost savings across the business; and a SharePoint Office 365 Collaboration Hub implemented for C&C Group (the Tennent’s lager brand owner).

In transportation, a Continuous Improvement Portal has been developed for Scotrail, Scotland’s leading train operator; cloud consultancy for Denholm Ships; SharePoint Support and Power BI for VShips.

In professional services, we designed, developed and successfully implemented a deployment database for a Telecommunications Consultancy business; together with a cloud based office system for a major IT Resourcing and Recruitment Agency; a research database utilising data from Reuters was developed and successfully implemented for Spiers and Jeffrey, one of the UK’s leading stockbrokers; at Edinburgh Tattoo we have helped to transform their IT systems, by deploying Office 365 and writing a master data management system, linked to their CRM and ticketing systems.

Private Sector

Water & energy

Bridgeall has developed unique strengths, competencies and experience in the deregulated water utility sector.

For the market operator in Scotland, the Central Market Agency, we built the Central Systems underpinning the competitive water market including the market settlement system for the £320 million annual wholesale charge. A second project involved the development of a solution to improve the accuracy and quality of water market data for CMA.

In 2017, we successfully delivered the settlements sub-system for CMOS, the Central Market Operating System underpinning the recently deregulated non-domestic water market in England. CMOS enables non-domestic customers to switch between suppliers and acts as a central market transaction and settlement system, calculating usage charges between wholesalers and retailers for the £2.5 billion market. Successful launch of CMOS enabled Market Operator Services Limited (MOSL) to assume responsibility for managing the new market in less than two years.

Other major projects in the water & energy sector include Castle Water and Energy Saving Trust.
