Introducing Bridgeall (Part 4): Sectors and Projects
In Part 4 of our series on 'Introducing Bridgeall', we present a representative sample of recent projects providing a snapshot of what we do.
Bridgeall has successfully delivered client projects across a broad range of sectors including Utilities and Energy, Central and Local Government, Financial Services, Education, Health, Manufacturing, Transportation, Professional Services and others.
This has provided us with unparalleled insight into the key success factors driving organisational transformation across a spectrum of different industries.
We have supported a number of public sector organisations in transforming service delivery.
Projects have included a SharePoint, Office 365 and Intranet implementation for a 2,600 seat deployment at Scottish Enterprise, Scotland’s leading economic development agency; the support and development of a Registration Portal for Registers of Scotland; a National Offender Case Management System for Justice Scotland; a Digital Mail Room System (DMR) for Cumbria County Council; an activity tracking solution for NHS Glasgow built on Bridgeall's SharePoint Project Management System; a Social Work Document Management System for East Renfrewshire Council; a Learning and Assessment System for 21,000 nurses at NHS Education; an Agile, Open Source Cloud solution for Fair Start Scotland, ensuring people have the opportunity to work.
A broad range of projects have been successfully delivered in the manufacturing, transportation and professional services sectors.
These have included:
The delivery of a strategic cloud consultancy project (including Hybrid, On premise, 100% Cloud) and a cask tracking system for Edrington, owner of the Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark blended whiskies and iconic single malts such as Highland Park and Macallan; a SharePoint implementation resulting in improved staff collaboration and significant cost savings for Heineken, the global beer and larger brand; a SharePoint Office 365 Collaboration Hub implemented for C&C Group (the Tennent’s lager brand owner); a Continuous Improvement Portal developed for Scotrail, Scotland’s leading train operator; cloud consultancy for Denholm Ships; SharePoint Support and Power BI for VShips; the design, development and successful implementation of a deployment database for a Telecommunications Consultancy business; a cloud based office system for a major IT Resourcing and Recruitment Agency; the development of a research database, utilising data from Reuters, for Spiers and Jeffrey, one of the UK’s leading stockbrokers; an Office 365 deployment and the development of a master data management system for Edinburgh Tattoo, linked to their CRM and ticketing system.
Water & Energy
Bridgeall has developed unique strengths, competencies and experience in the deregulated water utility sector.
For the market operator in Scotland, the Central Market Agency, we built the Central Systems underpinning the competitive water market including the market settlement system for the £320 million annual wholesale charge. A second project involved the development of a solution to improve the accuracy and quality of water market data for CMA.
In 2017, we successfully delivered the settlements sub-system for CMOS, the Central Market Operating System underpinning the recently deregulated non-domestic water market in England. CMOS enables non-domestic customers to switch between suppliers and acts as a central market transaction and settlement system, calculating usage charges between wholesalers and retailers for the £2.5 billion market. Successful launch of CMOS enabled Market Operator Services Limited (MOSL) to assume responsibility for managing the new market in less than two years.
Other major projects in the water & energy sector include Castle Water and Energy Saving Trust.
