Microsoft has announced recent updates to 365 aimed at enhancing teamwork and empowering employees, including a free version of Microsoft Teams and improvements streamlining the management of common tasks and improved data visualisation.
Microsoft Planner capabilities added to SharePoint team sites - allowing team members to easily access and interact with project tasks, while keeping important resources in a single repository.
Threaded comments in Microsoft Excel - making it easier to work with multiple team members on shared documents, providing a consistent experience across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Visio Visual for Microsoft Power BI - Power BI subscribers can now use powerful Visio visualisation capabilities providing new and exciting ways to explore data in Power BI. Microsoft 365 usage data can also be connected directly to Power BI, including a new Teams usage report providing an overview of how your organisation works together in Microsoft Teams. These enhanced Microsoft 365 usage analytics allow admins to drive improved adoption of services throughout the organisation, better leveraging IT spend.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator in the Microsoft 365 people card - the Microsoft 365 people card has been enhanced to include information from LinkedIn Sales Navigator allowing employees to surface profile information for prospects and customers.
